A safe therapeutic space that welcomes you exactly as you are.
I provide trauma-informed, client-centered therapy services, that are grounded in social justice. Welcome to a space that actively rejects grind culture and other white supremacy belief systems that negatively contribute to our mental health and wellness.
Hola, I am Blanca 'Janet' Monzon!
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience working in communities of color, in the fields of education, mental health, and community organizing.
I’m also a POC, an intersectional feminist, with progressive radical views. Transparency is important to me because I believe that my identities and perspective inform the way I approach working in mental health.
In therapy, my goal is to help clients connect unapologetically to their most authentic selves by providing a non-judgemental space to process their inner thoughts. I believe that everyone deserves to experience joy, pleasure, and plenty of rest in their lives.
I completed my Master’s in social work at California State University, Long Beach. Currently, I work as a school social worker. I often utilize; relational therapy, strength-based therapy, and feminist therapy theories in my practice centering the client’s experience in the work we do together. I have experience working with undocumented folks, first gen, and young adults. Se habla Español, English, and Spanglish!
